Equivalent availability factor
In FY26, AGL’s overall fleet Equivalent Availability Factor (EAF), was 83.4%, up 4.3 percentage points compared to FY25. This was primarily driven by an improvement in availability at Bayswater and Loy Yang A power stations, up 8.3 and 1.5 percentage points respectively compared to the prior year, resulting from fewer boiler tube leak outages. The EAF for wind assets increased to 85.2%, the highest level achieved over the past five years.

Thermal and gas generation fleet EAF comprises the performance of the following assets weighted by megawatt (MW) capacity: Liddell, Bayswater, Loy Yang A, Torrens Island (A & B), Somerton, Barker Inlet and Kwinana Swift Power Station. |
